You may remember a few months ago, that I posted about the advice I needed on my blog. I’m trying to make this blog go in too many directions, and I didn’t know what to do.
Last year I took part in the Firepole Marketing Great Online Scavenger Hunt, where I met Neil Rees, a fellow Christian, who went on to win first prize. He hasn’t used all his prizes, and very kindly offered two to me. I have been talking to Firepole’s boss Danny Iny about my blog strategy and Megan Dougherty critiqued a couple of my posts.
Thanks to them I now have a strategy for the way forward. The most obvious thing will be that I am splitting my personal and professional life. So this blog will be reverting to my personal blog, which is the way it started out, and I will be starting a new blog about my books.
Ann Marie Thinking Out Loud will be about my faith, my poetry, my stroke and such things. I may occasionally post about my writing progress, especially my science fiction.
My new blog will be about Swansea and Gower Past and Present, where I will post about this area, with a focus on my books. When I am ready to publish my science fiction novel, I guess I will have to start another blog!
So watch out for the changes. I know most of my followers here are interested in my faith. For those of you who want to follow my books, I will announce when my new blog launches, and invite you to follow me there.
In the mean time, please tell me in the comments what you would like to see in my new blog, and here.
